Blue Springs is a city in the United States of America, within the state of Missouri. Blue Springs is located within Jackson County and is only 19 miles east of downtown KCMO (Kansas City, Missouri). Blue Springs is named after the beautiful and endless springs that appeared blue when illuminated. This is a modern and well kempt city with lower crime rates and blue ribbon schools.

Visit Fort Osage, wander through the historic Dillingham-Lewis House Museum, or for a bit of history, visit Harry S. Truman’s home in Independence, only a few minutes away. Harry S. Truman was one of the most memorable and powerful American presidents in history. If you prefer a quiet and natural tour, visit the Farmer’s Market, Rotary Park or Burr Oak Woods Nature Center.

Just a few minutes away from Blue Springs is the magnificent Powell Gardens, featuring lush gardens, lakes, trails and vast windswept meadows.
Powel Gardens is a 915 acre multi-purpose garden which holds several events, weddings (even has its own chapel) and features the most breath-taking gardens for every occasion. Check out the Heartland Harvest Garden, the nations biggest ‘edible’ landscape, or visit the Rock & Waterfall Garden.
