New Comic: The Way DN Pronounces Things…

The way DN pronounces certain words is so cute! I rarely correct the way he pronounces things. His English is nearly perfect, and his accent is so cute. I just love the way he says things!

my hindi heart comic obreeously

It’s partially due to India’s British English influence – and partially due to Hindi. J and Z are nearly the same sound in Hindi, and the characters are only slightly different. To be fair, DN thinks I pronounce things strangely too.

“Zee” I’ll say, for the letter Z.
“It’s Zed,” he says, correcting me.

I guess I always knew it was considered both, as I met a woman from New Zealand who also corrected me in a bookstore once.
“Honey, it’s Zed. X, Y, Zed.”

That’s just the way we learn it in America. “Zee” for Z.

Anyway everyone, sorry for the delay and lack of posting. I’ve been very busy working. I’m also working hard to fix all the errors on MHH. I will try to get back to posting regularly soon.
